Not enough pies? I bloody love it when there's not enough pies! I swear to god some people are so self entitled wanting us to have enough - worst fans ever.

One of the worst home shirts in my time watching us. So bland and boring for 45 quid. Looks like we only had time to be innovate with the away kit. We have run out of creative ways to keep red and white looking modern and original. We probably need a new kit maker and shirt sponsor so at least next time it looks different.

    No squad numbers announced either.

In regards to the shirt, I can't stand collars so I obviously don't like that bit, the rest is decent though and I know some people really like them.

They're so negative aren't they. Should think themselves lucky to have a club. Back in the fourth division we didn't even have seats never mind pies.

    I like both.
On the subject of our commercial aspirations....we need to be loads better.
It simply isn't viable to have thousands of fans (clients) with cash in their hands to purchase new shirts etc and them not to be available or no date when they are. We have missed a trick here....why do footy clubs (not just ours) expect to take money off ...paying customers with little or no feed back.
Businesses would cry out for the kind of devotion that fans spend on their product....I expected more from our current owners tbh...and expect more professionalism. All the little things...make big things...we are a club dealing with big bucks ...lets act like it and employ staff who befit the standard we have achieved.

Pilsners, wheat beer, light beers, and other lagers probably best served cold. Ales, strong beers more often sold at celler or room temperature which is what I guess you mean by warm? Some craft ales are also sold cold so I'd say the statement you mention about beer being warm isn't reality :)

If people didn't complain nothing would ever improve.

True but there is a limit.

It seems like some folk on here only ever comment when it’s something negative to say/complain about.

Correct. However, when people do nothing but complain, failing to acknowledge anything positive, then this has a tendency to entrench views, thus negating the possibility of debate. It doesn't help, either, when some folk come out with the glib, puerile & asinine comments of 'moaning about the moaners'.
It's not just our club, though. A few years back I happened to view a link to the Middlesbrough fans forum supplied by the BBS. As they were challenging for automatic promotion to the Premier League, I assumed everyone would be in a positive frame of mind. Unfortunately, the place was just as divided as it gets on here. They divided themselves between labels provided by themselves as 'Happy Clappers' & 'Bed Wetters'.

It isn't my sort of collar, but it will be for some. There's nothing to dislike about the shirt apart from that. What are people expecting, it to self-cleaning and WiFi enabled. The only improvement I can think of, is if we didn't feel the need to change it every year. That would be different.

Not wifi no. I was expecting Bluetooth so I could answer my phone using the collar without having to get it out my pocket at the match. As usual, the club has missed a trick ;)

I think the away kit is absolute garbage, and thats all Im going to say about it.

But I like the new home kit, and its the very basic part of it that appeals the most. Theres only so much we can do each year with a simple red n white kit, and we don't need to make it flashy do we. This one is ok again although I do agree with the idea that both the kits should be the same style, ie either both with or both without a collar etc.

The other day people were bashing our old oak and well club crest. At least in those days the badge was embroided so didn't cut corners. 45 quid for a cheap looking stick on badge.

It's same with the match day programme. We used to have shinny covers that protected it better. Then we started cutting costs so now it wears much easier with a cheaper paper cover.

That's a strategic choice though, isn't it? They've chosen the most effective medium to get the message out and get the best return on investment with a very limited budget?
