You're trying to reason with a bloke that thinks there is something not right with people that sit in seats at football matches.

 

I love how now that’s he’s gone he gets slated by a few on here such as yourself who think we’re going to walk the league after one win against the mighty Oxford Utd.

 

He got slated by me last year and the year before that, nothing new here. Just wish the happy clappers would climb out of his arse.

 

Nothing to do with being up his arse, it’s called being respectful because it was he who turned around that team in 2015 and you know it.

 

If you have a different opinion about a player to your opinion , how does that make someone a happy clapper ?

 

I happily clap anyone who shows passion, flair, skill, bravery, determination, entertainment and love for Barnsley FC. Each to their own I guess....

 

I don't disagree with the impact when he first came back but I'd say the turn around came because his signing forced LJ to play 4-4-2 rather than anything Hammill did himself. But in a roundabout way It was down to him.

However, all this about how much he loves the club blah blah blah people need to remember how he dropped us at the first opportunity the first time round, how he celebrated like he'd just won the World Cup when scoring against us at Huddersfield. He did more damage last season than good and everyone could see that.

 

To be fair he came to oakwell with wolves when they were relegated if I remember right. He got some abuse and think he only came on as sub, he then posted when he did have twitter shocked at the reception I received I always gave my all for barnsley fc something along those lines.
