I am going to be at Oakwell on Saturday, first time in many years I have been in UK during the season..... Can I pay on the gate? Where do I want to be in the ground? Thanks!
You can get them on Internet and print them off on Official club website and its a couple of quid cheaper.
I've found that if you turn up and pay on the gate you get shoved up in the top corners or right down at the front at pitch level. For my money it's better to pick your seat by booking online and collecting your tickets before the match. Make sure you give yourself plenty of time to collect though as the queues at the ticket office don't exactly move fast.
Get tickets before 2pm on Saturday ussualy a que. Can phone up to purchase .pick up at ground or delivered if early in week .surcharge involved .
As others have said, it’s best to book online in advance and pick your ticket up at the box office. It costs more to pay on the gate and you tend to get worse seats. Whereabouts you sit depends on what view you want, again, booking online will help with this as it has a brilliant ‘view from seat’ feature. When collecting the tickets, there is normally a ticket collection only queue so you should be able to collect them in a matter of minutes, you don’t have to stand in the big queue. You can also choose to print the tickets from home if you have access to a printer.
West stand lower is a great place to be but wherever you end up I’m sure you’ll have that sense of belonging. I live away these days and can’t get down that often but whenever I do I am consumed by an overwhelming feeling of warmth and reminded that Oakwell is a place like no other.
