The club without doubt will have a replacement to come in and potentially someone stendell wants, with his personal life the move to London makes perfect sense and we get money. Also with Victor, Brown, Moncur, Potts, Hedges, Thiam all who could push on and be decent for us up top so it's no disaster so no need for anyone to slag the club off. Moore is the important one to keep as hard as Bradshaw works Adebejo, Thiam, Potts and Moore have scored more so far this year.

We can replace him tho?? Just like Millwall are signing him by the looks... Loan with a permanent move at the end of it

Just this - we dont know the full picture - it may well be that we have a replacement lined up who Stendel would prefer to keep doubtless we will find out shortly - If Bradshaw went and we resigned McBurnie for example everyone would stop moaning. - It wont be that but it could be there is someone else Stendel rates highly ready to come in.
If Bradshaw goes and we are playing with Moore and Adeboyejo as our main strikeforce in September we will all be rightly miffed

We get a million to spend on the wages of the next Ike Ugbo and an all round team firing all cylinders is disrupted.. Brilliant! Would love to see Millwall try to buy a striker off Peterborough in the same circumstances. Very poor by the club, especially when people have bought into the 'no one leaving' lie. We will not get anyone of anywhere near the same quality for £1m and will spend what we get on loan wages.

Not if they keep scoring we won't be miffed... Can't believe so many people over rating really how good Bradshaw is. I'm not trying to pull him down as he is a decent player but I think where we are is defo the top of his level. I'm hoping we have someone lined up who can also make a more effective step up should we get back to the champ next season. Winnall was 100 times a bigger loss IMO. Good luck to Tom if he goes but it won't derail our season.

On the basis that he didn't cost £1m nor did a more prolific Winnall, how do you come to the conclusion that he cannot be replaced for £1m?

Cyriel Dessers would get my vote. I did a bit of scouting of the foreign leagues last year and after seeing some of his goals I liked the look of him :)

He’s got pace, strength and can finish. I reckon he’d fit in perfectly to our side!

No one will have heard of him, but I reckon he fits the plan/the spreadsheet etc etc. Not sure if he’s affordable or would want to move here, but imagine he’s not too dissimilar a name to Dougall.

He's alright is Bradshaw a bit of a pound shop Winnall but he's a runner and a trier . End of the day he scores 1 in 4 and we need better than that .Good luck to him . Not sure Daniel will be too chuffed tho' .

Because other clubs tend not to be as daft as us though of course nothing is impossible. I’d imagine it’ll be a premier league u23 ‘star’ ehich Sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t or someone from abroad. Still I’m always happy to be pleasantly surprised. I think we were 1 striker short anyway so getting 2 able to step in will be tricky imo.

He scored more than your beloved Winnall in League One

1 goal in 5 and was fairly anonymous on setdy. Not irreplaceable in my eyes at all and a million quid seems a decent deal to me rather than leaving on a free at the end of the season which seems a certainty.

now, if we dont get a replacement in then yes it will be seen as a bad move. but we have Victor and Mamadou who can play up top.....and Isgrove & Hedges to come back from injury.

His role on the team given the adopted style of play is much more than scoring goals.

Defenders will be sick of the sight of him after five minutes, and he’s relentless.

I sincerely hope there’s a replacement properly lined up as I suspect there might not be or that the replacement is unable to match the workrate.

If come September we end up with adeboyejo up front, or even Moncur, then the style of play will have to change as neither will be able to do the same job.

I just don’t see how this makes any sense at all, but we will have to wait and see I guess

That's the problem for me too, getting someone in and how that will unbalance us while they settle in if they do at all. Also agree we were 1 short up top to start with. I fear we might be seeing more of Moncur. Question is will he step up or revert to type.

From interviews, I think Stendel sees Jacob Brown as part of the first team pool. We've not really seen him as yet (though previous pre season, I recall he did pretty well). I think he's starting back from injury, but I suspect the management team are viewing him as one of the options for the first team.

I think we're short there though, would be very unfair to expect Moore and 2 kids who've only just been included in the first team pool to get the 50ish goals to aide a promotion push.

Hoping someone like Marvin Ducksch will be on Stendels radar.. Into his last year in Stendels old stomping ground of the German 2nd tier..

Would bang em in for fun in league one, looking at his record.

Edited - Actually scratch that Fortuna Dusseldorf snapped him up already...

What’s the comparison with the leagues they both played in for us?

Easy to work out Bradshaw, in 2 champ season, just 59 starts, 19 goals and 28 as sub.

Winnall, 19 starts, 11 goals, 2 sub. Rest of his goals and apps were in League 1.
