I used to have pet lamb called David. He was lovely but I got a bit hard up and had to slaughter it in order to make a weeks worth of David Curries
We have had hamsters named Owen ( Gordon not Archdeacon ) and Ronnie Glavin. The current one is named Hannah after Marc Roberts and some long winded tail about him being a distant relative via the family tree and a potential common ancestor of that name.
We got 2 cavalier king charles spaniels in 1996 (Sadly now both gone) and we called one of them Danny. The missus wouldn't let me call the other one Wilson. She said that there was no way she wanted to be on the park shouting "Danny, Wilson" for the dogs to come back. Unreasonable I thought.
Nah, They are cute and lovely and all, and our two were loved to bits but I wouldn't have any more. They have so many genetic problems, including notoriously bad hearts, they are vets bills on legs. They were also a little too small for me. Current dogs are springers. Next one likely to be one of the poodle cross breeds, probably a cockerpoo.
I walk a cavapoo & a cockerpoo. Both excellent dogs. Need a lot of exercise though. The cavapoo is very althletic, very few dogs can keep pace with him.
