Anybody else having problems with it? Keeps quitting. I know the club don't run this, but it has been piss poor this year.
I've had all types of problems with it this year. I keep hanging-on in the hope that its teething problems and will be sorted, but it doesn't look like it. Main problem I have is the picture on videos when I put it in landscape view. It seems fine then suddenly goes pearshaped if you dare to touch the screen to pause, rewind or catch it by accident. I also tried to watch some extended highlights the other day with a fast wifi signal and the picture quality was absolutely shocking and couldn't be improved. Not sure why they're struggling so much this year.
It doesn't work right. You tell them and the response you get is we know but don't expect any money back. I've cancelled using them. A small gesture such as an apology and a free month or free game when televised would have gone long way but they couldn't care about anything other than taking your money.
I've a long time mate, and fellow Reds supporter, who has been living out in Los Angeles for several years now. He was in touch over the weekend saying he'd seen our matches via the ifollow app. Interestingly, he couldn't praise the quality of it enough and says the stream is excellent. Wonder if it is, as mentioned earlier, an issue with the UK servers?
If the service is not delivered as you pay for and the company refuse a refund, chargeback process is an avenue. If it had been over £100 and paid on a credit card then section 75 would apply which is enshrined in law unlike the chargeback process.
When I have been Watching using the match pass from Romania (love the place), only issue I have had was the one where the whole video stream went for that second goal t’other week.
It works great for me. The video it self could be of a little higher quality as I don't believe its HD, and the commentary has been a bit out of sync, but I hope this is something they are working on to fix.
I wonder if it's anything to do with VPN bandwidth dropping, given that foreign fans don't appear to be experiencing problems? I've not used iFollow as yet but I do use a paid VPN which can drop speed at times.
