Same here. It seemed to lurch forward every time the wind blew. Reminded me on being on the Hacksaw ride at Alton Towers. Some time later, I spoke with a mate from Donny who was an engineer for Miller Construction who erected the Stand. He worked on it and told me that it's designed to react that way every time there are gale force winds, so there's never anything to worry about. Might be right, but very unnerving when you're being blown about.
I did that when Conor scored that free kick against L***s. "That's miles too far out for a sh....GERRIN!". My embarrassment was witnessed first hand by a well-known poster on here. Still have flashbacks about it.
Remember that. I cant believe people forgetting brian howard chest n volley first game of season vs cardiff. Or paul hayes lob vs Swindon or chopra lob in his hat trick against peterborough
I still can't believe nobody remembers John McDonald's goal against Grimsby, from in front of the away dugout.
I can remember it. I seem to remember Allan Clarke coming out of the dug out to celebrate with him, as they were basically standing next to each other anyway.
Barnard versus Hudds. All this bowlex about it being hit and hope is rubbish. It was a go on goal and executed with breathtaking precision,.
