Basically, if I'm working, I have headphones on. I work most days 9 to 9. So like 80% I guess, if I were to sleep at midnight. It's about avoiding distractions, more than the music. I never listen to anything with lyrics.
Are folks saying theirs are good because they were daft enuff to buy em at over inflated prices. £100,£200 £300 parnd a pair I think I`d stop listening music first. Come to think of it........
Love how folk band around figures like £250 and peg them as "mid range"! I love music, but I honestly can't see the point in paying anymore than 30 quid for a pair.
Depends whether u want in-ear, on--ear or over-ear. I've a pair of Bose Wireless Soundsport Free at the min for when I'm dog walking but have had the Soundsport Wireless too. Lad has a pair of Bose on- ear and husband has the Bose NC Q35. AKG are good too. I find the Beats and Skullcandy stuff not very good especially if you want sum bass. Google reviews and look at different top 10's, somewhere in there the same models will appear on each of them. The Sony over ear ones are supposed to be slightly better than the Bose Q35. I've spent many an hour reading stuff but at the end of the day we all have different hearing and want different things from them
Got a pair of Nura paid about £350 but superb but if kit. Noise cancellation spot on and phones even tune into your own personal profile after checking your hearing. Well recommended biggish outlay but a steal really. Also had a pair of Oppo basics go for £400 ish. Rate them but the Nura better in my opinion.
Went for a boring choice - Sony, Paid less than £100. Can't justify paying much more. Thanks for all advice though and it was interesting to see what other people are willing to pay.
I like KRK. Sennheiser are industry standard, but I've had a pair of these for 4 years & they give a really clear sound when I'm DJing or just listening to music at home. They fold flat, which is great & are really comfortable.
Because I DJ, own a record label and run music events. I know Conan takes his music seriously, therefore a pair of 30 quid headphones aren’t going to do the trick
My travel pair are sony noise cancelling. Can't fault them. Paid £80 I think in an airport (or maybe a train station)
some people ought to watch the 'live well for less' show.... they don't half show up the muppets that buy stuff for mega bucks... and when given a choice of other stuff ( with the brand names hidden) cannot tell the difference between a bargain item over a mega bucks item.... The reason many of these items cost so much is because folk are chuffin gullible enough to believe hype, and hang an item on any so called celebrity and that pushes the price up even more.
I don’t even own any! Can’t wear them at work, travel in car so just have radio on and wouldn’t ever wear them when walking about as I’d be too scared of either being run over or sneaked up on. Actually, on second thoughts I probably have some aeroplane ones in a travel bag and I think my iPhone came with some but I’ve never taken them out of the box.
https://www1.firstdirect.com/1/2/banking/hello-gift I got the Bose on ear wireless, love em. Made over a grand in bank switching.
