Yep - just ask anyone who comes on here now slagging Hecky off for being a crap manager (coach or whatever) and ask them to demonstrate that they had this attitude before he left.

Ask em to show their posts on here criticizing his efforts.

Only Ongoing Cloud did, to my remembrance.

To be fair I did I thought he took over at a great time the team and formation picked it's self we had a squad far too good for league one we got promoted he rode the wave with players who exelled in the championship Conor, winnall,Marley, robo, scowen as soon as Conor left he had a mare he played one up top we still had good players matty James, Kent, Marley, robo, yiadom, scowen and we still only managed 3 wins after Conor went 2 against relegated teams. He seemed to want to play one up front even though Marley wanted to play striker. He also played one up top at leeds. I thought his interviews after games were poor and he always passed the book onto the players. No conicidence no team has gave him another job.

I thiught Hecky said himself that the club signed players without his knowledge and recruitment was the job of others

Thought he said he wouldn't play players he didn't want. And one of his reasons for joining Leeds was they had a recruitment team and he didn't have to watch players and could just concentrate on coaching

Just on the subject of player recruitment...leeds are indeed looking at pinnock...as our several other clubs...plus a couple of other players. When a thread appeared the other day about the Leeds coach being present at the out in match...it made me smile.....don't think the club's at championship level and above don't know players in all the divisions...they do!....it's what they can afford and what they are prepared to do about it.
As things are...things are great ....but I do fear for January and hope we rebuff the vultures.
Oh and on players in......stendel did bring in behre...no one had heard of him before that (the statos).....but yea majority identified by shortlist etc.
