Whenever any team gets beaten there is always a reaction from some folk that blame lack of effort/ lack of heart/ overpaid don’t care/ non-leaguers. It’s pathetic.

 

You may have had a better view. I think ours were done for leaving the technical area. Not any altercations. Because their chap was clearly the aggressor in that regard. Handbags.

We were second to most balls all night so for once I understand the moans about effort etc. But that’s not a worry. I know they give a damn. The worry is that they stopped trying to play their game. For consecutive games they let the opposition choose how the game would be played.

In the only period where we got it down and tried to dictate, we scored. Third goal goes in and again we stop playing our game.

It wasn't though. If they had shown the commitment the near 900 that went did, it would have been better. Carry on playing like that and Stendel will start getting used to hearing his side booed off at half time and full time. It wasn't acceptable and we made a poor side look average. Clubs all season have had chances against us and not taken them, which is probably why said players are in this league and not playing higher up. The last two games our slow back four has been shown up as sides are starting to take their chances.

Just knock the ball past any our defenders and run on to it and if you've any pace about you, our lads aren't going to catch you. It's something that needs sorting in January. Left black fails to block cross for first, Centre back fails to fully block deflected second, right back out jumped for the third. All too slow at reacting. If after conceeding five in two games Jackson doesn't get a chance at the weekend, it doesn't say a lot for how much we rate him.

I wasn’t saying that. I’m just pointing out the laziness of comments rather than the laziness of players. It’s not just some of our supporters. If a team loses for some people it is always a matter of lack of effort. Everyone has variable performance levels and that is a more likely explanation of our current two match form rather than all of a sudden the players don’t give a toss.
