Hamstringed while on U23 duty. Not going well is it down S6, Sam? Stick to warming the bench, at least you'll have your health!

The way things are going? Best start to a season in about 40 years isn't it? Unbeaten at home, won about half of our away games.

By the sounds of stendels interview yesterday I think we will see a different attitude from the players on Saturday.

Why does anyone on here care?

I think about what I'd do in a zombie apocalypse more than I think about ex-players...

With hindsight we know what happens to most of these players that think the grass is greener, they just end up richer. In their position cant see many of us doing any different.

From the players point of view not only do they end up richer but we don't exactly go on to achieve great things without them.
So all the players that left see we went down and think it was the right call to leave anyway.

He might have been a **** about it but the fact he's had several injuries since only serves to highlight how leaving us was a sensible decision. If he'd picked up the serious injury in the last 6 months of his Barnsley deal it would have seriously harmed his chances of a lucrative deal that summer

It’s often the case when a player comes back from a considerable lay off that they’re pick up repeat injuries that aren’t specifically related to the initial injury. I remembering reading Michael Owen say as much, Owen Hargreaves too. I assume this is the problem with Hedges and Isgrove in that they’re susceptible to injuries given their substantial time on the treatment table. There’s also a huge difference between being fit and being match fit, notwithstanding the fact that these are people try to contribute at elite level after a while out of the game. It must be so frustrating and really take a toll on a player’s mental health as well.

The best striker we've had in the last 15 years & in the top 5 of the last 20 including Ward, Shipperley, Dyer, Fjortoft IMHO. Incredible goal scorer & one who did great things for us & we did good things for him. Hope he recovers & gets back on track - would love him back down here but doubt there's ever going to be a chance.
