If we win & play well today?

I am still concerned at our shortsightedness with lack of suitable replacements for our spine.

    Hope I am proven wrong!

A win today won't alter the fact that there's a lack of quality options in the squad, which will continue to hit us as the season progresses. The manner of our performances over the next few games is a better barometer. If we can get back to dominating teams, it will show that we have at least learnt to combat other teams who try to play us at our own game.

We have done at times. Fleetwood and scunthorpe both came out and had a right go at us and we overcame. I was very surprised to see that as poor as we were on Tuesday, we still had the more possession.

I think we'll be into the loan market for a combative midfielder.

There more lack of options in our opponents squads though.

I'm more concerned with ours and whether we can sustain a promotion push when key players are missing.

I think its the same as anything in life , learn from your mistakes of the past & look to the future, you cannot turn the clock back so what has gone has gone .

Yes I will applaud them out and the slate will be wiped clean. It's a new game and part of being a fan is blind optimism. I just hope I'm still positive when the game ends.

The bigger worry for me is how a certain style of play against us renders us useless.
We just haven’t had a plan b or a way to combat teams being aggressive & pushing up in our faces.
I’m more interested to see if Bristol play this way today, how we will combat it.
