Well what do we think? (Those who watched it will know what I'm on about.)

I thought it was brilliant, towards the end it got a little bit heated but at the end of the day it was one of the most exciting games I’ve seen in a long time. Darts is much more exciting with players like price and the sport is just getting better and better I think.

‘Sport’ I wouldn’t call darts a sport. That’s not undermining the talent and skill of the players.

You know that game where you have a wooden board with hooks on it hanging on the wall? Different points for each hook and you chuck rubber rings at it.
    Is that a sport?

I play in a work darts team. I have this argument every week with someone or other. Is cricket a sport if all you do is have someone throwing a ball and someone else trying to hit it with a piece of wood? Is golf a sport when it's just somone hitting a ball with a club? Wrestling? Horse-racing? Rugby, both types? Despite the size of a lot of darts players it's mainly a mental game, dependent on hand-eye coordination and a bit of maths. I know people who can't even hit the board and some who can get a double nine times out of ten. I wouldn't want to see it in the Olympics but try playing it. If you find it hard while others find it easy then it's a sport you're not good at.

I know what the initial subject of the thread is I was asking who farted, I shall remember not to go off topic next time.

Lol, I was only being mischievous. Though I do think my comparison to hoops is valid. It's almost an identical discipline.
I like playing darts. I'll never get what the fascination is of watching it on tv though but that's just my opinion.

I wouldn’t compare a pace bowler at cricket with a darts player for eg, The pace bowler at the top of his game is physically fit and has to have the mental attitude in order to outwit the batsman. I’m no good at the game of darts, come to think of it, I wasn’t great at the Sport of cricket.
