Just got that nagging awful feeling that Donny will do the dirty on us. Really hope not but..... we will get beaten at home sometime.
They have some very good players in Kane, Wilks, Marquis. And Coppinger always seems to do well against us even though he must be near 40. But believe they have their number 1 centre back suspended. Be a tough match, but as in most games at this level if both teams play at their best we should win. If our level dips to Charlton/Shrewsbury levels then they’ll turn us over.
I'm hoping they'll still be feeling a little cocky and gung-ho after Tuesday night - if they come at us, then it's ours to lose.
I fancy us to win by a couple. And the more this new front pairing get used to each other, I reckon we might have the best strikeforce in the league. Woodrow has fantastic composure, delighted we've got him. Fantastic piece of business to get so much for Bradshaw and bring in a far superior player.
Unbeaten at home all season and for last 4 games of the last one. What could possibly go wrong? Weren't Donny the only team to beat us at Oakwell the season we went up under Ritchie?
Yep. If we play like we can, we take some stopping. Even playing ok for half a game has been good enough sometimes. Stendel won't want us to go to Sunderland on the back of not winning. I'm sure he'll be looking for a big performance and 3 more points tomorrow. These are the big games now, and we have to put distance between ourselves and Donny, and be looking to be in 2nd place by Tuesday night. None of this taking a point off Donny. That's for them to hope for. We should be aiming higher.
I think now is when we really start to kick on 6 points from the next two games. We just needed woodrow to get fit with Potts, Mowatt, Mcgheehan, Thiam, Moore, woodrow we are big strong powerful quick with goals coming from everywhere. Big options off the bench as well.
Can't see anything other than 3 nill to us. If we are worried about playing that team we might as well sell Oakwell to a property company.
