    who decided, and why, it was a good idea to go into the season with one right back. I thought McCarthy was poor last season but might have been better at this level. If nowt else he would have given Cavare a bit of competition.

    I’m guessing it was a cost cutting exercise. Jordan Williams plays RB I think.

    I would find that very worrying, given that the squad was already imbalanced.

    I think its clear they thought Williams would be adequate cover. However, early signs suggest the management dont think he's quite up to it.
