Was at the Stadium of light and he was excellent. He was also the best player in the team in the first 5 or 6 games this season according to some fans. Have a bit of faith in him and give him another chance. Getting on his back wont help his performances.

The guy has some talent in there .its not the odd mistake because they all make them ,he is lazy .one particular instance against donkeycaster he was only 3 yards away from a ball and still lost out

My issue is his laziness. Happens far too often. If he can sort his attitude he might be ok in league 1. Personally I'd replace as priority in January.

I don't think its laziness, more shocking decision-making. Both major errors last match came from him not clearing the ball and trying to play himself out of trouble. Could be a top championship full back if he cut out the unnecessary mistakes i think.

Funnily enough, a friend of mine (not a Barnsley fan) who was a casual visitor on Saturday, thought that Cavare played well (other than his mistake for their goal). It's all in the eye of the beholder.

What about his other mistake that nearly cost us the game. On his day he’s a decent defender but he has that erratic tendency in him and it’s happened quite a few times already this season.

To say he’s probably our strongest player he seems to not win the ball a lot when he goes in. Looks half hearted most of the time.

I thought apart from the 2 mistakes he did ok he was good going forward and he got a assist. Wasn't just him who made a **** up if Donny could finish bahre would of had 2 assists for them.

You would have to take that up with my friend. I thought Cavare had a difficult game, and I in my opinion he has struggled recently.

Tend to agree. Most annoyingly for me is his tracking back after losing the ball. He just ambles back. Pinnock got him out of jail several times against donny and he’s been like that the last few games. It’s as though he’s lost appetite in the game.

If other teams are targeting him as a weak link - as Donny were - then he needs to be dropped and put through some intensive training to knock the mistakes out of him. It would be suicidal to keep giving him chance after chance when he makes mistakes like he did on Saturday. Matches like tonight can have a big influence on our final position. Have people forgotten Fulham at home last season?

Big, strong player and when bursting forward can be a handful...... However, he struggles defensively and is not great at passing or crossing. All in all, decent league one player and the best wev got in that position at the moment.
