    In contrast to our corner that Kieffer scored from, their's was a poor one to the near post that just required a simple clearance from the first defender. Someone must've took a swing and shanked it as I've no idea how else that could've ended up in the net.

    This is spot on. Having played and watched the game for ....... a long time, i’ve never understood why anyone would play this system. It makes no sense and ...doesn’t work at the lower levels of football. Too often no one takes responsibility for dealing with the attacking threat. With ‘man for man’ players know their responsibility and it’s pretty simple. If you have a problem with a player consistently failing to deliver on his responsibility, that gets sorted.

    I’d agree with that, but I think the ‘tactic’ is largely responsible.
