do you think if there is one that more will vote to leave than last time, considering how the Europeans team have treat us. They have created a deal all in their favour. They have stitched May up and the stitched Cameron up. They are trying to make an example of us to prevent France and one or two more leaving
They've created the exact deal that those of us with more than 1 brain cell knew they would. Why would they give us anything we wanted? What's in it for them? We have nothing to offer, and expect the world. They have to protect their member states.
I've no idea and it probably depends on the question and if the options are properly explained to the electorate without out the lies and ******** we've previously seen from both sides.
Do you actually believe we have nothing to offer? Now with your gazillions of brain cells I thought you would realise that Europe would also suffer from a no deal... ?
What have we heard from the remain side about a more centralised EU ??? Have we heard that budgets for the whole EU in future will be set in Berlin. Have we heard about the EU army with their headquarters in France and Germany? Has anyone been given information about Britain being sucked in to becoming just a state in the U.S. .... of ....E. Germany lost the armed war to conquer Europe. Germany intends not to lose the financial war. Nothing can be EXPLAINED to the general public - because no one knows what will happen if we Leave ..... but no one knows the shape of the EU if we Remain. There are NO experts on Brexit.
On those remain points, yes we have heard from Jean C Yuncker during his state of the union type speech. Yes the intention is fo a more centralised EU, with a central finance budget, European finance minister based in Brussels. So we do know where we are headed when we eventually remain. We are slowly sleepwalking into becoming a federal state. Like it or not, it will happen.
But how many British politicians have you heard discussing that ??? Gisela Stuart has ...... she is Leave ..... and she is also German.
That agenda is not being pushed from British politicians so of course we haven't heard that talk. More talk of a more centralised Europe with closer ties is coming from the people representing the EU, then add in the likes of Macron.
This is what I just can't get my head around. I can understand people not wanting to be part of the EU. But how have the EU treated us poorly? They have rules. If you go into Tesco and pick up a tin of beans with a set price on, you don't expect to get to the checkout and expect to get them for free, get a personal courier service, free coffee while you wait for them to be packaged and given free shares in the company. Yet much of the public expect such a thing from the EU. They expect us not to have to pay, to preserve and enhance the good bits, shy away from the bad bits and somehow be able to dodge any laws and jurisdictions. In what realm would that ever happen? The villains in this piece are the conservative party. They called the referendum. They lied ridiculously on leave and remain sides. They assumed what Brexit meant, but couldn't agree on it. They triggered Article 50 far too early. They called a GE and wasted 3 months of negotiations. They then failed to turn up in Brussels to negotiate anything for months on end. They've become ever more divided and can't get anything through the commons, and still, they argue among themselves without calling on others and still at this late hour, they cannot agree on what a deal should be. In comparison, the EU had a negotiation guidance within a month and ratified within another month. They've asked repeatedly what it is the Uk actually wants... often not getting an answer and more often being abused and derided for conservative right wing gain. And frankly, if it wasn't for the EU having detail and clarity, we wouldn't have even created a title page on a document yet. So no, the EU haven't stitched anyone up, they've merely outlined their rules of membership, and obviously, being outside the EU isn't ever going to give us anything better than what we had previously within.
Member leaves club wants to stop paying fees. Wonders why club then won’t offer them the exact same benefits. They really are a set of teaspoons as is anyone who follows the EU is punishing us narrative. They are just implementing the rules that we held set up and defending their members interests.
When people realise that it is Tory Austerity that is causing this country to go to ****, and not some phoney war with the EU we might be able to get out this mess relatively unscathed. The rich are getting richer and the poorer getting poorer, that’s not because of the EU, it’s a Tory government who have used the EU as a scapegoat for their own policies, and got everyone to blame immigrants. UKIP were even designed by the right wing tories to break labour strongholds and connect with people they would never get votes from. And people bought it. The entire country is disarray and yet people suggest Corbyn is evil personified.
Before they created this massive club of crooks the rules of joining and leaving should have been agreed by all parties. For me a fair financial penalty for leaving would be a certain percentage of the country in questions average of their last five years gdp. That percentage being agreed by all members on joining. All these eurocrats are terrified of having to find a proper job and don't want their empire and five star hotel lifestyles to be taken away.
