I'd have him back here. Marley that is, not the charlatan.

He would be ideal for the way we set up without wingers. Great engine.

It's almost certainly unrealistic but I'd enquire about a loan deal especially if he ends up out of favour at Bristol.

One would be unrealistic, both would be impossible in my opinion. Of the two I'd prefer Watkins.

Think I would too, don't think it's realistic. Winnall may actually be available due to his injury but I doubt that would happen either just put it out as a bit of fun.

Back to his best he's a formidable striker at this level but I think Woodrow is going to be just as good.

Signs look good and agree it's out wide where we have struggled in recent games.

Two wingers are what we need. Lads up front will have a field day with quality crosses coming in..

I know this has been played to death but the club need to walk away from the silly not signing anyone over 25...

Hammill is our guy. Loves the club, still lives local and give him 18 month deal.

I've seen a few comments and threads about ex players coming back. The reality is that Hourihane, Roberts, Scowen, Watkins, Winnall and Bree are now all Championship footballers. I would imagine the desire for most to return is limited, particularly at this stage as they would be seen as failures having stepped up to a higher level than we are now.

Not to mention the spectacular effect of wages they are now on and the often significant loan transfer fees that are common nowadays, unless a club really want to sell someone.

I think the only one who may come back if we offered is Hammill, but we don't know if that's remotely likely or if we burnt bridges.

Done nothing at either club he's been at since leaving us and we would be barmy to bring him back even on loan. He would cost us five figures a week to cover his loan wage as no doubt any club taking him would be expected to pay it all or a large chunk of it. If we've that kind of money to chuck at players it should be spent trying to sign permanently a couple of new faces.
