Anybody know his whereabouts not in Birmingham’s squad again is he another one who finding out the grass isn’t greener on tother side
Told he was being sold regardless and was given a massive pay rise by Birmingham. I'd say the grass is definitely greener.
Must be terrible for him to have to sit on his backside and keep checking his online banking. His grass must be quite green !
Before the which hunt starts we sold him, he didn’t ask for a transfer or make any noises about wanting one We saw the cash and literally snatched their hand off and told Marc to get packing his bag.
At Patrick’s last fans meeting he said that he’d wished he’d fought harder to keep Roberts, I’ve always took that as Marc asked to leave.
I didn’t, I took it as Birmingham made an offer and nobody ever stopped to think it was a bad idea. Marc Roberts had made no attempt to leave before he was told he was off.
Five year contract in five figures a week. One contract to be a multi millionaire set for life and at a club in a higher league than us. I would say grass is greener for him.
PC took the money and ran. Why is anyone shocked he did it about 20 times. Lets see in next few weeks if this new lot do the same. They did with bradshaw.....
Who's shocked? The Club's open strategy has been to develop and sell and the new owners said at day 1, they would largely continue this.
To be fair they replaced Bradshaw with Woodrow, who apparently cost as much or more as they got for Bradshaw. January will be interesting though.
Is the Woodrow deal a definite one? Would hate to have the dirty done on us cos we were naive in some detail.
Out injured with a calf strain, went off last week after 9 minutes or so. He didn't ask for a transfer, Birmingham made an offer it was accepted. Offer too good to turn down for him, weekly wage, re location payment and bonuses.
As someone said in another thread we can't take one person's claims as gospel. I was at fans forum when Patrick said he'd hand ownership of the club back to the fans.
