    Few points on this:
    1) He clearly said a number of players wanted to leave so that was out of the clubs hands, so even if we had recruited we would still have lost some of these. Huddersfield and Reading are a good example of the gamble, it worked for H, but look at Reading last two years have been in a relegation fight so recruiting not really worked for them has it.

    2) Think everyone agrees in hindsight the club dropped one allowing the contracts to run down like that, however what the podcast clearly also showed was in every role he had from youth to manager he had issues with his immediate bosses and was looking at leaving at times.

3)He never said they were recruiting players he did not know about, he said they signed and had medicals without him knowing, this doesn’t mean he did not know about the player being identified just that the new CEO never kept him up to speed with progress made. You also level deviance at GG to suggest this was deliberate, perhaps it was just either the new CEO learning the ropes and making mistakes as he learnt or he was juggling so many balls at that time he let timescales of communication escape from him.

The podcast is a very good listen however one must remain open minded to the other side of the story.

Especially as there is documented evidence that paul heckingbottom is either a liar or at least as a poor memory and contradicts himself at every opportunity.

In relation to his honesty and integrity we have to remember just how quickly he managed to get his backroom staff to make life changing decisions too

Some interesting views on this thread but some of the replies to the poster are very disrespectful imo

Writing something in capitals doesn’t make it a FACT. This whole thread is embarrassing for you, I hope you get the help you need.

Don’t know how often you browse, but he’s got previous for behaving like an impudent child.

However that does not excuse the vitriol that YN attracts.

Each post should be treated on its merit.

    Thanks.
But it’s all LOL to me.
It’s all pile on - bullying tactics of the playground.
One has a dig and then if there’s another dig then those that are hard of thinking start to believe that this must be the right view - and just follow the cart like sheep.

What’s interesting is when someone steps in and actually agrees with my point of view.
Then it’s like watching a shoal of fish floundering on the beach.
    Try it :) :) :)

Still don't understand why Nudge thinks Ganaye is to blame for anything.

I believe him to an extent but I think you're right that he might bend his version of facts a little to support his version of events.

He's no reason to blame Ganaye for anything. As with anything the buck always stops with the owner of a company. If they don't like something one of their employees does, it doesn't happen. Therefore decision he made will have happened with the blessing of the Cryne family. He's just another like Rowing and Mansford in the scapegoat position. It's stupid Ganaye is being made out as the person who sold off our best players.
