Poll ....... Hecky podcast

Just what input exactly do you think you have on the direction of the club other than wandering off and supporting a different club if you don't like the way they do things? I support the club and have done since I was old enough to understand what that meant, I hope they do well, I hope we get back into the Premier League and stay for longer this time. We have new owners that seem to have some ambition, they have FFP to consider when they are spending money and at the end of the day the season is nearly a year long and they only get to make changes twice a year. Some people seem to think that making changes at a football club is like switching on a light bulb with instant results..... you can spend millions like Man Utd have done and not have a group of players and staff that gel and do well together but people like you make sweeping statements about "No Ambition" and "requires investment"..... learn some patience, there is no instant fix and no guarantee that throwing money at the team will have the right results anyway..... good football teams are grown, not bought.

 

Good teams are grown but you can’t beat good oldtarn to flog the Crown Jewels off and sell the fans down the swannie for the sake of a quick buck.The new owners have a chance to rectify this mentality and if they do the stay away fans may start to return. I’ve studied this forum with interest before starting to post and any criticism of club is met by howls of derision from the bulk of posters. Tremendous potential is present at Oakwell and with a bit of ambition who knows where will we will end up. Without no ambition why bother?
Better thinks to spend money on if they can’t show any

 

Which stay away fans? Our gates are as healthy as they have been in years, considering the league were in and absence of away fans.
