At the mother in laws... (even though they are in Australia) but r lasses grandparents are round.. a few nibbles, plenty of beer and a takeaway... I go to toilet while Santa is in the back garden leaving my 5 Y/O sons xmas eve box on doorstep.. then have him and rest of them telling me Santa’s just been in garden and I’ve missed him..

I spend the run up to Christmas moaning about the fact I have to go into work for a few days between Christmas and New year. Then by the end of boxing day I'm ready to go back to work for a couple of days "rest"

Fall out with the wife, shout at the kids, get pissed, eat loads and then spend the afternoon half sleeping and half farting

My tradition is having 3 christmases. First with my mum in Barnsley on Christmas Day, 2nd at the in-laws on Boxing Day in Kent, and the 3rd with the missus on New Years even back home in London.

Why would I ever try and change that? ;-)

Before we return to the UK for the winter Mrs Burgundy Red and I celebrate “Firstmas” with our friends in France complete with Firstmas dinner, Firstmas presents under the Firstmas tree, Firstmas songs, the whole shebang. It’s far more relaxed and fun than the real thing and there’s no big rush on the shops in early October.

Edit: Also, the Low Christmas album on Christmas Day proper.

Always cook a ham on Christmas Eve, and then we have ham and eggs for breakfast on Xmas day. We also try and buy a special bauble every year.

Can relate to that having lived in the North of Scotland for many years. Made the trip home extra special at Christmas. Don’t miss the travelling tbh and can get to every home game now.

I'd love to hear Mr G Spicer's Christmas day shenanigans. C'mon George tell all.
