We had to try to play a different type of game to bring CW into play. It reminded me of the Bradshaw days. I thought we looked a bit slicker up front and didn't have to resort to lumping it up to a big forward. Some of our interchange was very good and we made Peterborough look average. In fact we seemed to be taking the weewee.
Won comfortably so I'd say not, but I'd still rather have him in the starting line up because he gives you the option to mix things up, and opposing defences are wary of him which makes space for others.
We didn't miss him if you look at the result, but I prefer him being in the team. The first third of the match before we scored, it wasn't pretty. Watching Woodrow run around with no team mate anywhere near him as a lone striker, it was like the Bradshaw days.
Were not that good yet that we can play without one of the best strikers in the division, not on a regular basis anyway. COYR
Always going to miss Moores hold up play in my opinion, only thing that was missing from a great performance yesterday.
I think we play better with only one striker on the pitch from what I’ve seen this season whether that’s Moore or Woodrow. Take some balls to leave one of them out
