Just spotted a tweet from the club that they stop selling Luton tickets at 2pm today
You won’t be able to buy at the box office tomorrow. No idea why that is but that’s what it says
Can’t post the tweet from my phone

Very strange. Still they have been on sale long enough and through a match day so everyone who wanted one should have one. (Presumably someone will now tell me I'm wrong)

How odd that with over 10,000 potential customers coming to Oakwell tomorrow, we are stopping selling a day early. Should have been on sale until 3 PM tomorrow. Not like box office will be busy selling match tickets for other games, as Burnley is sold out.

I think Luton have dropped a bollock with the unreserved seating here ..... unless of course, they have an absolutely massive stand.

Only matchday they have been on General Sale was Boxing Day I think. Which is not a typical match day. Really puzzled as to why we aren’t selling tomorrow. Doesnt affect me as I can’t go anyway and if I was going would have got one already

Possibly it’s practically sold out and they just want to wrap it up today rather than getting loads of enquires tomorrow?

I do see your point but it's not like we have hundreds of fans who were leaving it until Saturday to buy a ticket for a game in London 3 days later. Do agree it's odd though.

As far as I know, any remaining tickets go back to the club on the supporters bus, so would have thought they could still sell some tomorrow and new years eve from the box office.

My feeling is that a win tomorrow could lead to the spare tickets being sold as Luton away would have even more significance.

Seems pretty shortsighted to me, but I don't know the reason. It's a new year fixture and they might not have the staff?

Maybe Luton requested the numbers by then? Might not just be our decision.

We had sold 782 on 19 December, so I doubt we've only sold 6 more since. They also made it clear on this date that "Tickets will remain on sale until 2pm Friday 28th December" so it shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone.
