Just seen the Luton manager intimating that we are dirty side in his aftermatch interview. Says he had words with the ref about as we kept putting in “big fouls” not sure what that even means when it was one yellow card each team.
I can't remember any big hits apart from the tackle from Williams on the touchline. They were begging for a penalty when Pinnock cleanly took the ball in the first half. It was laughable. They're probably used to teams rolling over, but we pressed them and played some lovely football yesterday, sometimes maybe too much, which is possibly because we didn't have Moore to give us another option.
It's an awful forum in the main. I've been reading it throughout the season, and they're not a very nice lot - probably mostly school kids, given some of the content. Apparently their fans tried to bully Accringtons following, but there was no sign of such bravery yesterday. Long way to go until everything's decided, and I wouldn't put my house on them going straight up just yet.
I think they will fall short of the top two I think either it will be between us pompey and Sunderland for top 2. Lutons record against the top 7 teams isn't a good one this season they seem to do well against the weaker teams mind. Their fans seem quite deluded to be fair they are well punching in 2nd but they seem to think they are some sleeping giant wasn't long ago they were a non league outfit.
