    Big statement from the owners that. And worth considering before everyone shits themselves about Potts.

    Pleased we're keeping Thiam. Good player and will get better imo.

    Hmm... bit too soon to say that. I imagine if the offer is improved closer to the 2.5-3 million mark, he'll be off.

    Football has gone mad if top 6 championship teams are offering £1.8m for a forward from a League 1 team who’s scored 4 goals all season and isn’t even a regular starter.

    I’d snap their hands off.

    I can count 5 he has scored off top of my head. Better than people give him credit for imo miles ahead if hedges and still 23. But we love a scapegoat.

    I think he has been great this season. Settling in well. One of the most creative and energetic players we have now.
    Ok he can lose the ball sometimes and needs to work on his crossing as do most of the team, but some of his little flicks and one touch passing have opened defences up this season.

    Credit where credit is due, didn't look up to it when he first arrived. Even at one point branded lazy due to one match where he got clawed in the face and it seemed to impact his game that day..

    Seems to have his fitness up to speed these days, so much improved.

    Would have said Blunts as they want a few strikers. But then McCabe has banked 11 million from Brooks and Wilder knows he's got to deal in just loans this month so it can't be them.

    He’s a winger, not a forward.
    He’s scored 5, with 2 assists.
    Not a regular starter.
    18 months left on contract.
    2 of his goals were goals of the day/month winners.

    Not sure how that genuinely compares against other wingers in L1? Probably pretty good stats actually. That’s why there’s interest.

    If you view him as a forward, it’s not a great return, but he’s not a forward and never has been.

    Money by itself means nothing. We could get 100 million for a player but if we're unable to get anyone in that is as good what's the point?
