With the result, we have more than matched a premier League team, just can't believe Lindsay's stupidity right at the end! He should apologie to the rest of the team for that! No wonder there's unrest from their fans if that's the sort of football Dyche is serving up!! Hope they get relegated to be honest! As we are of all the cup competitions there can be no excuses, 100% focus on the league for the rest of the season and hopefully we can still finish top two COYR!!
I’m sure he’ll have held his hands up & apologised to his team mates, it’s a shame as he’d been superb before that. Belongs in the same category as Mowatt v Portsmouth & Pinnock v Sunderland, rare error by a usually dependable player no point dwelling on it, not like he does it every week
In the grand scheme of things it may not be a bad thing that we've gone out. 21 league matches left to play, 13 wins would get us to 85 points but I'm not sure that would be enough for automatic promotion, I think Shrewsbury finished third on 88 or 89 points last season!! It's going to be an interesting second half of the season!
Can see us playing them in the league next season, but it needs to be managed better by stewards/police.
I'm not too bothered. It was a free hit today. I was pleased with how we passed the ball at Luton, and today we did it again against much higher opposition. Just need to sort ourselves out in the final 3rd and keep on keeping on in the league and get some pressure on the top 2.
