Granted I’ve not been his biggest fan since he’s been here but he’s ******* on fire at the moment. Can’t fault his work rate or his end product.
Honestly, I've always had a feeling the lad would come good. Well played Mamadou. Let's hope he becomes a Barnsley legend.
I'd still love Hammill back at the club - but after recent performances he wouldn't get in the team for me. Would be happy to have him on the coaching team when he hangs up his boots
Thiam was superb today. As were: McGeehan Mowatt Brown Moore Toby Cavare We played really well as a team after the first 20. Bradford came at Us like a train and appeared to be really well drilled; they penned us in really well and pressed fantastically. I thought it was going to be a long afternoon, although did question whether they could be that intense for much more than 30/40 mins. We then got in behind them down the flanks and then capitulated. Could really have scored 5/6/7. I think automatic promotion is on judging by that.
His first touch is excellent and he causes defences no end of problems. He is a very exciting player to watch and also have in the team.
He's been brilliant recently. Looks a million times fitter than he did when we first signed him, and he's starting to take the p*ss out of full-backs in this league.
From his postings on Twitter and the way he kisses the badge when he scores, I honestly think that Thiam loves playing for Barnsley FC. It's taken him some time to acclimatise, but you can see, his confidence is growing every game and hopefully, his best is yet to come. Well played Mamadou Thiam.
