    4 days before Pompey away hmmm

    I guess it had to be 4 days before playing someone but surely a better date could’ve been chosen?

    Exactly. Portsmouth away is a massive game in our season. They are all big but away at a team we are trying to hunt down is huge. I would have preferred no mid week game beforehand so they had a week to focus on it and rest up between games.

    Could be a good thing. By then 3 more points could really put pressure on top 2, if we're not already doing so.

    If you're wanting promotion then you should be good enough to beat Burton at home and give it a good go at Portsmouth

    Well I'm sure Burton had some input too. It's not like we just pick a date and give them a call. Remember it's they who are having to travel midweek having already made the journey once this season.

    Yeah I get that. Just out of all the Tuesdays we could’ve proposed to them it’s typical that it’s the one before we are away at Portsmouth.

    Portsmouth have QPR and Peterborough in the cups, if they win them and they both look winnable, they’ll be playing Tuesday, Saturday, for weeks, maybe months if the weather takes a few fixtures at some point too, in fact I wouldn’t be surprised if we end up playing them on a Tuesday towards the end of the season.
