I seem to remember someone said something to that end. On a scale of 1 to 10 rate your pleasure level right now. Mine's at about 4 but could drop.
There’s a week left. We’ve sold Potts and Moncur, bringing in two pacy wingers. We will lose Winkler but that is slightly different - Pinnock or nobody else has gone as yet. 6/10. Could easily become 4/10 or 8/10 in the next 7 days.
I'm currently bricking it, just expecting more negative news. It's a shame really, really did expect us to strengthen this squad further instead of stripping it. If we can hold on to our key players now Moore & Pinnock, I would be very happy, but I still feel we need some strength in depth in our squad.
Let's see what the new signings are like before we judge. League position wise and the way we are playing I am pleased with how things are thus January.
At the moment 9 out of 10 but depending on results when we could end up in second that could go to 10 out of 10
I was really disappointed with my Christmas presents on 15th December, but on Christmas Day I was really happy with them.
Didn't some Reds report that we'd be pleasantly surprised with the january window when they had a chit chat with Conway and co at Burnley? So far we've brought in a winger from the non league and another one from a team 20th in league 2?
However comes in or leaves, its what we are, whether they are first teamers, reserves from Man U or the Beezer Homes. They may be stars or rubbish, nobody knows. The only thing that matters really is which league we start in next season.. Champ, then the season is a success chose what. L1 then its a failure chose what. That is what everyone at the club will be judged on. It is black and white really. But the time is now to gather your squad for the run in.. taking in mind injuries suspensions and the like, so we wait and see. But no excuses come May.. no only ifs.
Don't think my pleasure level has ever been affected by our transfer activity. If one of our new signings sucks my **** I'll let you know.
