What a future this lad has in front of him! Still learning and still working hard, and it shows on the pitch. Got his chance and took it, well played today!

With a bit more pace. Won't be long before he knocks one in. Good crosser too.

Played alright for us. Still learning. Needs to be careful with throw ins as they are usually close to being a borderline foul throw.

Impressed by the lad, his energy and enthusiasm is there in buckets. Thought Cavare had a good game too.

Thought Williams was targeted by hill,, who put their big number 9 up against him. Their number 9 was their out ball all game of which he won 90% of the balls knocked up to him. Was so glad when they took him off as he had williams in his pocket till them, Imo.

I would agree with that assessment in the first half. In fact I pointed it out and felt they should move Lindsay across at goal kicks etc. Second half Williams' approach seemed to be different, and Andrews was nowhere near as effective. Either great credit to the lad or the management.

Thought the lad did well, despite being left with 2 attacking him on quite a few occasions, one or four of our lot off the boil yesterday.

In the air yes, he had Williams’ number but then he should do given his height advantage. On the floor though, I thought Williams was up to the task and defended well.

Deserved his man of the match.

My view was that young Ben realised very quickly that he wasn’t going to beat him in the air so he made sure he was right in his back and gave him no room to be effective - dirty job well done in my opinion

What’s really interesting, especially considering I thought he was comfortably MOTM yesterday, is that he was going to be released in the Summer by Morais.

Hassell asked for him to be given another contract. Could easily have been playing for someone like Harrogate this season, but now he’s looking at making that left back position his own for a promotion run in.

Aye he needs to sort those chocolate wrists out and stop diving in. Like his enthusiasm though.

Fully deserved MOTM. Looks good going forward, working well with Thiam. Think he has earned a run in the side.
