    Also reporting Stoke interested in Lindsay..

    Begs the question would Kerr be coming in as backup, as Jackson replacements, or Lindsay replacement.

    Saints fans rave about kerr more than Jags fans raved about Lindsay. Exciting!

    If we lost Lindsay I would play Jackson and hope a run of games leading to a promotion is enough to get him to change his mind about signing a new contract. Kerr would take the place of Jackson on the bench.

    In the same bit he says Matt Clarke at Portsmouth is their first choice but they're put off by the £5m asking price. Our asking price would surely not be lower than that would it? Same arguments as those we've heard all week regarding Pinnock apply here for me.
    Would be good if Portsmouth are further weakened by losing Clarke.....

    IF we were unlucky enough to lose him to Stoke, I would be tempted to hit them for Peter Crouch in return, at least until the end of the season. The guy loves his football and is just bench warming at Stoke.

    I would’ve thought Kerr would replace Pinnock who will surely leave before Thursday’s deadline. I’d love him to stay but I imagine that our resolve will be severely tested at least once or twice in the coming week.

    Think Clarke is younger and English.. which automatically puts an extra mill on his price tag, but I don't think Lindsay would be cheaper than Clarke

    With our recent record with centre-backs, if I was a club in the bottom of the Champ/ top of league one and I heard Barnsley had made a bid for one I'd get straight in there and try and outbid us!

    Never known as Many of our players linked with moves away pinnock,Lindsay,cavare,thiam,potts,moore. Kerr is highly rated by their fans so that could be a decent addition but hopefully as a replacement for Jackson and we keep Lindsay and pinnock.

    We're our own worst enemies on this forum, talking up transfers and inviting bids for our players when I seem to recall Giddings saying yesterday that we'd had absolutely no, nada, zilch, zero, offers for any of our main players since Potts left.

    Can't we all just stfu on outgoings and concentrate on unsettling players at Luton/Portsmouth/Sunderland/Charlton instead?

    Agree with that.Giddings as also said the club has "categorically denied putting a 4m price tag on Kieffer Moore" Don't forget boys and girls its silly season until the end of the month.

    This thread is about Kerr coming in from St.Johnstone, a repeat of a rumour, but also picked up on the new Lindsay to Stoke rumour. So not sure where you’re coming from?
