Millwall fans at it again (aided by the Scousers, of course)

Also amazing how the excuses they make they never have proof of it. Plenty of videos of Millwall thugs causing bother, but not one video around of these Everton fans that apparently went after families with kids.

Good luck to the Rotherham fans who go there next weekend.

Harris been on Sky Sports saying they are specialists at knocking
the " big" teams out. Never mentioned the blatant hand ball for their
    second goal. Odious git.

No upset caused Prince and glad your intention was what I'd thought it would be given the sense and decency in any of your previous posts!

No wonder they turn out how they do with parenting like this littered with swearing and racism from such a young age.....

I think the irony of this is that the fishwife shouting Millwall as they were fighting has potentially got the perpetrator time by posting the video. Dumb as a stump

They are discussing this on TalkSport at the moment and shock horror, it’s not Millwalls fault according to a Millwall spokesperson.

3 Occasions now in recent history, that they have overshadowed their teams performance with hooliganism. Obviously the playoff final against us, then when they won the playoff finals themselves and the players had to tell the fans to stop spoiling it and now this. Unbelievable, as a fan I would hate to support a team that everyone hates and dreads to play due to their own safety.

And it's pains me to say but you look at Wednesday fans last night at Chelsea, that's how fans should act. Really do think the football world would be better without Millwall, they are a disgrace to football.

I had a look on Millwall's forum to see how they view the events of the weekend. There are a couple of people taking issue with it but far more supporting it - saying that if you're on a coach and make gestures then you deserve to get bricked etc. There's one bloke who describes the reaction to the racist chanting as "pc **** at its very worst" and someone else who suggests that the person who filmed the racist chanting should have their phone inserted where the sun doesn't shine.

Compare that with the thread on here about reporting racism where the only disagreement was about the proper way to do it.

It’s every time they’re involved in a big occasion. They had West Ham in the cup a few years back & their own fans were fighting in the crowd live on BBC 1 & back in 2004 in the cup final against Man Utd they were causing bother

Most wierd fight I saw was on the morning of our FA Cup Semi final tie against Cardiff at Wembley.
We had stayed overnight in the Hilton hotel near the ground and after breakfast went into a side lounge.
There were a number of Portsmouth fans already in there . They had stayed overnight after their Semi final
win against West Brom the previous day. We were enjoying a pre-match pint, when suddenly without warning, a mass
brawl broke out. It got really serious and was only stopped when security men rocked up to stop it. Never found out
what it was allabout, but it turned out that it was Portsmouth fans fighting each other. Absolutely bizarre.

Whilst I agree that there probably is alot of good stuff going on in the background, when the whole ethos of the club is to intimidate, then the family aspect is negated. How many incidents do we need to see?
Forget Luton in the 80s, just in recent history -
Rotherham - they pile into the family enclosure.
The Den V Bradford, throwing coins etc at Bradford fans.
Wembley, they chase our fans around the top tier.
Wembley, invade the pitch and intimidate Bradford players
These are all fixtures for which Millwall has sold tickets.

I've been to thousands of games, Nothing comes close to how their general population of fans behaved. From the minute we got on the train in central London, me and my daughter were abused verbally by their fans, asking if we were scared, swearing, looking for a reaction - their female fans incidentally as bad as the blokes (in front of flag carrying 5 year old fans of their own).
At Wembley, a Millwall fan put both hands on me trying to block me going in the direction of our end. It wasn't a joke, it was pure aggression. A 20 something bloke Vs a 48 year old woman. Just why??!

The EFL needs to look at the message it sends out with this Family Club of the Year Award. It's encouraging families to actually take part in excusing this utterly vile behaviour.
Millwall forever excuse themselves and blame others.

On this particular occasion I'd say the blame was very much 50/50 between Millwall and Everton, going off the reports and the videos. Whilst appreciating Millwall's extensive list of misdemeanours, I think Everton are getting away very lightly considering huge groups of their fans went well out of their way to find home supporters, even into local estates in Bermondsey. I thought those days were gone to be honest, especially around that area as there's a designated away walk way. Definitely both sets of fans at fault on Saturday.

Millwall are a throwback club and I can't see them changing for a good while yet. They attract anyone looking for a punch up and this in turn attracts idiots from other clubs wanting to cause bother. I admire the passion and the way they shun aspects of modern football culture but they will never be able to rid themselves of the negative perception whilst ever every prat in South London fancies a tear up at their big games.

I'm not defending the Everton fans, the video tells the story quite well, however we all know from first hand experience that some Millwall fans do not need a second party to tango. This vile minority will just attack any opposition fans.
