We’ve slashed circa £10k a week wages...

    Roughly:

    Potts £3k
    Moncur £3k
    Isgrove £3k
    Winkler £750

Yeah, we’ve signed a couple. But that’s a big clear-out. Let’s not forget, most folk knew we’d got far too many midfielders.

Biggest loss is Winkler - but we carry on.

It’ll be interesting to see if we’re gonna use a chunk of wages savings on a big-ish signing.

    Let’s see what tomorrow brings.

January is a seller’s market though.....

I'll sleep better knowing the wage bill is lower based on your arbitrary figures and it won't be reinvested. Phew! This is why I follow football.

Wouldn't hold your breath were haggling 200k for George Miller who has scored 4 in 28 for Bradford

Lost out on Kerr too because we're run like Steptoe n' Son.

Not arbitrary at all. Been a few posts about it recently, and it’s not exactly hard to work out.

We’ve cleared deadwood from our midfield - just be interesting to see if it is reinvested or not to help with a final push.

Yeah, I don’t expect a signing, but hopefully we might get someone to add to what we have for a final push.

    It’s a seller’s market January - never a great time as a buyer.

About half a million a year if you're right. Could offer someone 10k a week as a box office unexpected signing and the wage bill wouldn't change much.

It’d be a great plan. Doubt it, but we’ll see!

No. Wages were posted on here a few weeks go by someone. They seemed reasonably accurate to most folk and in-line with our model.

Yeah when we sold Potts GG mentioned we are able to strengthen short term I thought by that he meant bring a player in who will fit straight in and help us with a promotion push. Since then we have let moncur and Izzy go and brought in green from Yeovil and the young lad for the u23s.

There's got to be some tomorrow. Conway & Co at Burnley said we would be "very pleased" with the signings during this transfer window. I haven't seen one which qualifies yet. A promise is a promise.

Those figures were plucked from thin air by Denihol.

Nobody knows our wage structure who posts on here.

Ano I'm usually quite positive but I still think we have been weakened so far in this window. And the lad from Bradford we have been linked with who has a ratio of 1 goal every 9 games this season who even their own lot aren't keen on doesn't fill me with confidence.

Perhaps they meant the lads we've just signed and hoped we would be pleased with them. I really can't see anything happening tomorrow.

Not sure massively weakening the squad is a reason to celebrate.
