I think the idea of having a pub inside the club is fine for people like disabled people who might find it difficult to get around town - or those that want to drop out of a car - straight into a pub seat - then straight into a stadium seat. Then carried out of the stadium after the match and plonked into a car. The rest of us ......... should be in TARN.
How many tickets will we be giving Sunderland when they visit? I imagine they will want all the north and half the west but will they just get the now maximum standard 4700 for "safety reasons"?
None of the drinking options at the ground are for me. 1. I can count on the fingers of one hand, how many times I've managed to get into Redfearns. 2. The beer in the ground is vile and over-priced. There's plenty of people who would leave the pub earlier if this wasn't the case.
Just two easy questions from me. Why have they bought the club? And the situation at Nice, does he see that situation being mirrored here if we continue to have such a high turnover of players, coaches and executives?
What has gotten them into the situation they find themselves in at Nice, ie split between fans, directors and shareholders. What lessons have been learnt from where they find themselves in at Nice. What are they going to do differently at Barnsley to ensure they don’t find themselves in the same situation.
Given that the departure of GG has been on the cards for a while, what actions have been taken behind the scenes to fill the gap, and how soon do they expect to recruit to the CEO position?
Hi Gally, Could you ask the club if they can look to address the merchandise shortage in the club shop & online please They must be able to manage the stock so they do not run out. Missing another revenue stream with the lack of stock and options around leisurewear. Cheers
Oh, two more, when the owners had their presser announcing the acquisition, Conway said they had a 6 month option which they expected to trigger to acquire the Cryne held 50% ground ownership. That would have lapsed in May, but no comment has been made since. Has the option been exercised, extended, or dropped? And if the latter, why? Second, the investment vehicle for the 80% ownership is based in Hong Kong, can they outline the reasoning for that vehicle and its make up of investors/ shareholders and directors?
For Ganaye we didn't get mentioned substantial fee like when we lost Winkler or undisclosed fee like when we sell a player. I'd this because he's been poached for your other club and we aren't getting a penny in compensation as I assume had we got something it would have been mentioned?
Is the Puma contract finished and if so what next? Any chance of a fans vote on kit design? Any chance of a pre season friendly in Nice?
Obviously going down wasn’t part of the plan and had Thiams goal v burton not been incorrectly disallowed and had the Fulham player been sent of for 2 footing mallen when we were pissing the game, then we wouldn’t have. Anyway, I digress, is the boards plan to slowly grow the club and make profit from players to reinvest in the bigger project going to plan? I personally think it is and should we keep the rest of the current squad today, I don’t think we’ve particularly weakened long term. The days have gone where you get a le tissier or a Steve bull playing at your club forever and every club in the world is seeing this.
