Maybe @Turvey Tyke can clarify the records. Isn't Bassett's play off team the highest since 3 pts for a win?. They were all on the back of the Chronicle a few weeks ago.
The promotion team of late 70s early 80s were mentioned in the chron, 2 pts a win back then. Quick edit 80/81 we got 59pts, 80 pts when converted to 3 pts a win
So I can remember that but not my debit card number or what I did yesterday or why i walked into the kitchen.
Obviously would be nice to beat our points total record, but isn't it so,so,so nice to have such a huge positive goal difference!! +27 and only the start of Feb. Amazing!!!
In the 2 points for a win days our highest points total was 67 which would have been 97 in today's money and it was only a 42 game season too. That was back in 1938/39. The promotion team of 78/79 got the equivalent of 85 points and Our top points totals 38/39 - 97* 54/55 - 95* This season (based on PPG) 90 33/34 - 89* 67/68 - 85* 78/79 - 85* 99/00 - 82 53/54 - 82* 80/81 - 80* 96/97 - 80 * Indicated adjusted for 3 points per win
Form over last 19 games. P19 | W11 | D5 | L3 For 32 | Against 15 9 out of 19 were clean sheets Same form would see us with 92 points.
