    Having a match thread for our rivals' games seems to be paying dividends lately so I thought we should give it another go. Also, I don't want Sunderland fans to feel we're singling them out for special treatment just because they're so massive. I want all our promotion rivals to fail, it really is as simple as that.

    As generally good as the top teams are this is demonstrating how poor the others are at defending.

    Southend are all over the place at the back. Every time pompey go at them they look like scoring.

    Proof that we shouldn't write Sunderland or Pompey off, we will drop points ourselves. Pompy v Sunderland penultimate game of the season could be huge.
