He says our fans wanted the full time whistle more than their fans which is a good sign. Stating the obvious that the team winning want the match to end sooner and how is it a good sign when the reason they don't want the whistle is because they are losing. He wasnt talking sense.
Funnily enough I thought it was a fair summery with the exception of that comment, of course they didn’t want the final whistle to come, they were losing!!
Well tbh I wasn’t expecting him to say we were fekin rubbish and deserved nowt . He kept his teams heads up gave them a bit of encouragement to take into the the next game . He gave us respect and obviously doted on their chances which an opposing manager should I don’t think there’s anything wrong in his assessment
Very fair from him I think. We did want the final whistle. Not sure where the other two penalty claims are from but aside from that I think he has given a decent assesment of the game. Seems a good manager to me. Wycombe clearly have inferior players but he set them up well with a clear game plan. They let our defence have it and then pressed out midfield. Which often causes us problems.
Thought that was one of our most comfortable wins of the seasons to be fair. Soft penalty he gave them, but GU showed no bitterness in that interview. Very honest assessment of the game to be fair. No disrespect to him, but thank god we didn’t give him the job.
