Don't work in a warehouse, it'll destroy your soul. Speaking as someone who has done just that for the last 31years

ASOS are always recruiting. Or Dpd, if you fancy running round like a blue arsed fly trying to drop an impossible amount of parcels for 12 hours plus every day.

Maybe Oakwell non playing staff are setting on but I can't imagine their hourly rate is much to write home about.

Don't bother with the job centre though, last place to go if you wanna job.

    Thanks

I remember when Ashley Jackson first started out.He used to do a lot of sign writing on wagons
and now he is a renowned artist, maybe that’s one way to go.

Only advice I can think of is if you have any hobbies try and find a way to get a job related to them or make money out of them.

I can tell you're not cut out for signwriting, your spelling's too good.
    What about painting and decorating?

A lad I used to work with was originally a Carpet fitter ,enrolled at the
Plumbing and Electrical Technical College, 12, Red Hall Court, Wakefield
WF 1 2 UY ( Tel No 01924 369038). Now runs his own business in the
Wetherby area and is apparently doing very well. Fitting Smart meters is quite lucrative and
could be covered in the training course. Another lad I know, bought a small van and delivers
Passports and Visas for the Home Office Passport Centres in both Leeds and Liverpool.
When we eventually leave the EU, the present Red EU passport is to change to a UK one coloured Blue.
There's bound to be the need for people to deliver a quantity of them, so it might be worth enquiring as to vacancies.

I echo the painting and decorating suggestion. It's almost impossible to find a decent one as they're all booked up. They never need to advertise, it all works via word of mouth and social media. Do a good job and your phone won't stop ringing. Buy a decent van and get somebody to put a nice logo with your name and number on the side.
