by the sounds of it he’s been banned from social medi for disregard of the rules, wether yesterday was a convenient day in light of this or not that’s up for debate but what it shows is that hate speech and intolerance of whatever kind shouldn’t be tolerated and should he challenged, his supporters will all shout what about this.. what about that... all about Islam, Muslims and people who are perceived as different to their own, well that’s tough in this instance, he has not been denied freedom of speech. I’m sure social media has the same standards for all, if it does not then it can be damned. Yaxley-Lennon thinks he sometimes has the semblance of an idea but he’s been quick to prove to everyone he hasn’t actually got a good idea in his brain. I don’t think he is the working class hero he portrays.

However and it’s a big however if he is within the law he has the right to be heard.

He’s been banned from certain online outlets due to his hate rallying, he’s being found out on mainstream tv, so he’s doing his best to discredit them so he stays ‘relevant’.

The fact that he has even been heard of by a lot of the country is a sad indictment of the state of current affairs.

He’s a hate fuelled bigot, a far right fascist spewing his bile to all who will listen. On top of the rest of the s.hit shower that Brexit has caused, it has given him a pedestal to stand on to garner support from all the folk who voted leave due to ‘them Muslims’ and other brown folk.

He’s essentially a radicalised hate preacher and should be in prison for that - as well as all his other misdemeanours. Instead he lives in a half million pound mansion and lives on champagne and cocaine, all paid for by folk on minimum wage and welfare.

If he came to Barnsley I imagine folk would line the streets to applaud him.

Being a bigot isn’t a chargeable offence in itself. I’m not alleging it - he is.

I’m not actually alleging anything, I’ll stick to fact.

Domestic violence, impeding the proceedings of court cases (contempt of court), mortgage fraud, assaulting police officers, use of threatening, abusive or insulting behaviour, breach of bail conditions, common assault, trespass, breach of the peace and defamation of character are all chargeable offences. He’s been charged and found guilty of all of them.

He also contacted the perpetrator of the Finsbury Park mosque attack BEFORE the attack took place; he then justified the attack afterwards claiming the mosque was creating terrorists and jihadists.

He brags publicly about houses and holidays he’s had funded by his ‘campaign’ and that he can score Class A narcotics wherever he is in the world. Particularly prominently when in a Muslim state which he knew would take most offence. Not inflammatory at all.

He's a scumbag. Don't really follow the 'news' too closely these days but i've seen enough to come to that conclusion readily enough.

 

For what it’s worth I think he’s a bit of a melt, however we have people in this country and on this board urging the government to bring back a KNOWN ISIS sympathiser but would happily put this guy in the stocks for speaking the truth.......you may not like what he says or even agree but what he does do is highlight massive problems in our country when others are afraid to do so in case of being labelled a racist

 

He's the media's and authority's public enemy number one at the moment so there's little surprise he is misrepresented. He could save ten lives and still be hated but that's the reality of having his views and actually expressing them in today's world.

Can't say I'm a fan of his, he seems to do a lot of attention seeking stunts that undermine the arguments he wants people to listen to. I liked the fact that he was one of the only people to expose the grooming gangs, I don't agree with how he went about it but then this stupidity is probably why he'll never be successful. I appreciate his motives are questionable but so few people were willing to even acknowledge their existence I was happy some light got shone on the many scandals.. But he then goes too far with other stuff with his disregard for laws etc. I can only imagine he's now continuing all this to make money as there seems nowhere really for him to go given he's got the wrong opinions for today's society. I struggle to comprehend how much hate he attracts though compared to the actual terrorists, rapists and groomers etc. His every action attracts a huge backlash whilst again today another grooming gang has been sentenced with minimal reaction anywhere.

I think there's a fine line between protecting people from hate speech and protecting the actual freedom of speech. There will always be conflicts there and blurred lines. I'm not comfortable with people being silenced or misrepresented at all, regardless of their views. We as a society should be able to decide and judge for ourselves rather than things being distorted and censored, that can only lead to bigger problems.

 

What those willing to see an ISIS sympathiser allowed back are doing is supporting the law of the land. Without the law of the land we will all, eventually, be well and truly f***ed when it's our turn to be singled out and have no fair redress.
I hate the way islam treats women and have no time for its extremes but Tommy Robinson is a racist bigot. Full stop.

Goodness. Quite a lot of criticism of young Tommy on here.

There are times when I read this message board and .........i’m really proud to have grown up in Barnsley. This is one of them. He stands for the very opposite of the values and ethics I learned growing up in a mining community.

 

He has a voice, he has something to say, so he MUST be heard.

Firstly because he says things that are very un PC that need to be said.

And secondly - if you silence him then it generates suspicions and conspiracy theories which leads to unrest.
