We all knew we needed another Striker to add for competition with Woodrow & Moore. Adeboyejo isn’t good enough. And now it’s likely Moore is out for some time yet.

In typical Barnsley fashion we sign a striker we can’t recall from his loan spell.

A tough run of games coming thick and fast. Hopefully it won’t cost us.

Most Barnsley thing ever to sign a striker that can’t even play for us this season. Very naive of the club not to envisage an injury to either Woodrow or Moore. Both have already spent time out of the side this season.

No. Since 1st January we have played 10 games undefeated, won 6 and drawn 4. We've scored 19 goals and conceded 6. I reckon most of us would have taken that on New Year's Eve.

There were many posting that the January transfer window was a success.

Perhaps it will turn out to be so.

Most of those games were with Moore though. The point is we have to soldier on without any decent cover because of poor January recruitment.

To be fair we should have signed a additional striker in January. Having said that whoever we had signed was unlikely to get the same goal ratio as kieffer and every signing is a gamble look at will grigg 4 million and can't hit a barn door.

I’d say it’s a safe bet that Grigg will score at Oakwell.

If he got 33% of Kieffer's strike rate, we'd still be better off.

True but still no guarantees they would score that grigg cost 4million I don't think he has scored yet for them.
Imagine if Conor got this sort of injury in the 2015 season we most likely wouldn't have made the play offs minus his free kick away at port vale and we miss out.
Hope someone else steps up and fills kieffers boots I'm not sure who the answer is bahre? Vic? Jacob brown as striker? That's down to stendel.
