What exactly are you looking for from this team? That's as near a perfect result as any of us could've dreamed at half time. Who gives a toss if a few passes went astray or we made the wrong decision in the final third. We won THREE NIL with 10 MEN. I realise I've bitten and I'm therefore prolonging you creating contrary threads for attention but you really do talk some ballax at times.
Omg , we was sublime worked as a team even tho down too ten men ... some people juat cannot see that get a grip or support bloody wednesday then u can slag of every week ....
Nudge lad... Its time tha went and found a quiet room and wacked one off.... All that frustration will disappear... So will them worry lines across thi forehead.... Dunt forget thi tissues lol
Im looking for a team that plays flowing football. And I would NOT describe that as flowing football. Far far from it !!! Against a team as poor as Southend with so many of their Ist team players out ............. Our goalkeeper should not be having to make brilliant saves. Bähre should easily have scored 2 goals. Mowatts shooting was abysmal - he must have had 5 shots and none came clear to scoring. Brown got so frustrated with his performance and the teams performance he dives in and gets sent off. Mowatts crosses and corners were terrible. Woodrows link up play was none existent - a very high percentage of his passes went astray. Thiam huffed and puffed and did nothing. So IMO - a very poor performance against nothing more than a pub team. But as usual on here - blinkers are on because we won.
Fair play for putting together a response, but we were playing flowing football up to the sending off. Second half we kept it tight at the back, still took the game to them and scored 3 goals - the 2nd was a clinical finish from a great pass. We haven't looked like a clinical and flowing team every game this season and in a few have looked downright poor - today really was not one of those days.
It is just my opinion Nudge but you are looking for reasons to moan rather than celebrate. This "poor" Southend team is the team that came back from 3-0 down to draw with Pompey the other week. Davies made a few routine saves - nowt brilliant. We never looked uncomfortable - with 11 or 10 - against them. Scoring 3 goals with a man missing is remarkable.
We av all seen em, they cum art of nowhere, you cant run, tha cant hide. The best thing to do is avoid contact, nope i'm not talking abart Zombies i'm talking abart the fishermen, that always look to drag whatever we do darn. Fukin Reight Result, 10 men, 3-0, clean sheet, away from home. C. O. Y. R,
Just finished watching the match from tape (had workmen in), a great win for us. Heads never went down at any stage, even when we went 1 man down. But have to admit that we did fail on passing around the box on a lot of occasions. Southend, on the day, were poor, yes - but that doesn't detract from a great professional performance by the Reds. If we win 3 nil whilst wasting a lot of golden chances by rushing the last pass doesn't that make it even more convincing? Surely it demonstrates that we are even more in control than the scoreline suggests
