Don't think anyone stood out cos everyone played so well, but McGeehan probably deserves it

I thought the centre halves were outstanding

Can’t give it to McGeehan, stupid stamp and shouldn’t have been on the pitch. Good hit for the goal at a crucial time but he was a very lucky lad today.

McGeehan was outstanding and just pips our two centre halves.

Cavare for me, was already having a good game but when Brown went off he stepped up and basically played right wing back.

McGeehan's goal was great as was his work rate but his passing was poor. Cavare was superb especially after Brown went off almost covering two positions at the same time .

i voted for Pinnock who must be the best center half in this league, but if our manager was on the list he would have had my vote you just cannot fault him.

Went mcgeehan but can see why people went cavare he was excellent. Both center backs too pinnock with a vital block before half time to stop a certain goal. Diffrent game if they go in one up.

Lindsay and Pinnock were majestic and a lot of our forward breaks came from their interceptions. Good to see Dougall and his superb ground passing back today too.

Cavare. Most improved player in the side, defensively now solid whereas before he was woeful, still has the forward threat. One negative, that overhead kick was daft - but his energy and running second half made it look like we weren’t down to ten.

I didn’t think McGeehan deliberately stood on him - the lad moved his leg so I can’t see it, there was also no force. He had a good game.

The centre halves were both excellent but we come to expect that. Yet another clean sheet.

Cavare for me today but it was a great performance with no one being massively better than the rest.

The reason I think it was deliberate is McGeehans innocent reaction and how he was downplaying it, if I’d stood on someone unintentionally my first act would be to apologise. The guy did move his leg, but he caught him so high, I’m not sure he moved sufficient to get a full boot worth of studs.

McGeehan is certainly our most cynical player. Think of the handball goal, the lunge from behind to stop a player getting away at gillingham, now this. I like competitive, but I think he’s taking it too far.

Bahre made a real difference when he came on. He was involved in the 2nd and 3rd goals and chose not to shoot when he should have done on another occasion.
