really great news. Glad you've got it beat and are enjoying life. You keep tuning in, we'll keep providing the nonsense.
All the best WES. When I was diagnosed in 2014, from the off, I was determined to remain positive and I'm told by friends and family, that I never ever lost my sense of humour. Due to the daily radiation sessions I couldn't swallow food, so had to have surgery to insert a feeding tube through my abdomen directly into my stomach. As well as my wife's dedication in feeding and caring for me and the love of my family, keeping abreast of what was happening down at Oakwell and checking what was being said on the BBS every day, really did keep me going. Like yourself, I'm in remission and have been told by the experts, that the type of cancer that I had is unlikely to return. I'm so grateful to the Oncologists, Radiologists and Surgeon who looked after me and to the Macmillan nurses who have monitored my progress at my three monthly appointments over the past five years. I am being discharged from their care in June and thank God for every day I wake up and of course for our wonderful NHS. We must fight with all our might to make sure that the service that so many folk rely, on is preserved. Every good wish for your future bud, hope you enjoy those few jars when we play Sunderland and more importantly, we get the right result.
Great news Boggy. Keep fighting and getting stronger. Hope the boys continue to cheer you up this season.
Good to hear your both in remission. I know this is a football forum and we ALL have the love of the religion that is Barnsley fc. But I also love the fact we can talk off topic and with mostly like minded people with humorous. Serious and downright bonkers talk. That I think is not found in some other parts of the country. ( can imagine it’s a bit like this in Scotland Ian) so glad that you two find your spirits lifted when reading all this ****. . God I love this town and it’s people.
