It won't be the F.A's fault if we miss out on promotion. The levels are that high and margins that fine. It's the **** ups against Wimbledon, Walsall, Shrewsbury, Plymouth and Burton that will cost us.
I will keep my own opinions of what will cost us if we don't go up but I'd say selling Potts who still had 2 and half years left on his contract and selling moncur both could have filled in for mcgeehan haven't helped though. We spent the majority of the 1st half of the season with only one experienced striker in keiffer moore and the second half only woodrow. I t's been said before but bahre needs to pull his finger out and not just when we are crusing to a win. Hedges needs to impress from the off aswell because the only time he ever looks decent is off the bench.
If I expected to win every game I would have listed everyone of the games we didn't win? Those are the games where in my opinion the opposition were inferior and we ****** up.
I wish everyone would stop fretting about Sunderland. If we just concentrate on our own ambitions we'll be fine. Let Sunderland do the worrying & chasing.
Football doesn't work like that many of those teams came and shut up shop we had no answers, look at the Donny game at home they looked a far better side than us if it wasn't for pinnock and Davies we would have lost that. I'm pleased with where we are and especially the football we have played.
Except that the only way of getting it back into our own hands is by beating Sunderland assuming everything else remains equal.
Me too. I think the selection was wrong for the Doncaster game though. We had momentum there and lost the next two matches if memory serves me correctly. Incidentally I didn't list the Wycombe match because they were better on the day according to reports. The Sunderland away game we lost to a better team on the day.
You expect us to win every game SERIOUSLY? what a strange comment. If we dont go up in top 2 it will be down to yet again a poor transfer window. We should have been retaining our squad and adding 1 or 2 players to strengthen instead of selling and cutting our numbers you gain promotion with a squad your always going to have injuries and suspensions very naive to leave ourselves in this situation.
The Sunderland game we were on top untill the penalty decision where pinnock wins the ball then we fell apart and heads dropped.
Bit picky really, you could say if it wasn’t for errors from Mcgeehan, Cavare and Bähre, they wouldn’t have had a goal scoring opportunity. If we’re mentioning the ifs and buts, then let’s mention them all for balance please.
Not really the whole team were poor kieffer was quiet as a mouse mowatt wasn't his usual self. We created nothing of note I thought we were poor that day and they were the better side pinnock has a great game and got a great ovation when his name was read out for motm. Davies pulled off a point blank save to keep us in it. Bad day at the office.
