Have to say I'd give Victor a chance, given we have Sunderland on Tuesday. Hedges on wing. Green & Bahre on for last 20-30.

Thats what I would do as well but I think Bahre will start instead of Victor, and I wont be surprised if Hedges starts instead of Green either

Still think we have enough for tomorrow - its the games against Sunderland and Donny I am more concerned about

Agreed. We are lacking people who can put the ball in the onion bag. I'd say Victor is more likely to do that than Bahre. Maybe Mowatt or Thiam can grab one.

Id say Im more likely to stick the ball in the net than Bahre - its a while since I saw a player more scared of having a go than him he really panics at the sight of the goal in front of him for some reason

PS We could even start with both Green and Hedges and go 4-4-2 Green on the wing and Hedges partnering Woodrow - I wouldn't think that was a crazy idea though not what I would do if I was the boss - but Stendell I think knows more than me

Really don't know how he'll approach it.
Strongest possible team on Saturday and get the 3 points. Worry about Tuesday afterwards if we make changes because it's the "easier" game then drop points we put all kinds of pressure on the Sunderland game.

Agreed, but hard to say what that is. My feeling is give Victor a chance. Bahre lacks confidence in front of goal.

    Davies

    Cavare Pinnock Lindsay Pinillos

    Mowatt Dougal

    Green Bahre Thiam

    Woodrow.

This is a really decent line up with Hedges, Vic, Jackson. The Williams duo would all come in and give their all. Also one of the young lads from the u23s may step up.

Looking forward to tomorrow, I hope we can get a decent performance to give confidence for the following 2 huge games.

It's a toss up there no doubt, think he will go Bahre, but I would be fine to see Victor given a chance with Mowatt and Dougall in the middle then Hedges or Green out wide

I agree, I think Bahre will get the nod. If he could accidentally knock a goal in of his arse, he may well score a bucketload before the end of the season. Thiam is more likely to do that though.

I bet we have at least 2 players on our team tomorrow who cost more then their starting 11. So, no game is won on paper etc, but we shouldn’t use the absence of two players who wouldn’t have been in anyones starting line up 4 months ago as an excuse.

not using anyone or anything as an excuse. justvdaying that AS are a good footballing side and they will be a test whether or not we have a fill strength squad.
ps it don't matter one jot how expensive our players are v theirs.

I mean statistically, what you pay players really does matter when it comes to where you finish.

I'll be nervous of every tackle and every strong challenge tomorrow. We really can't afford to lose anyone else. Starting 11 still look strong enough but the bench is starting to look really thin. I really wish we still had Potts and Moncur now but nm, we need to play our part now and roar the lads on. Let's get Oakwell bouncing tomorrow and Tuesday, undefeated at home and I'm confident that will be the same this time next week. #FortressOakwell

Green and Bähre to replace them. Massive blow with tough games to come, but it may be a chance for others to come into the team and impress.
