    Then I think they're deluded.

    They won just 6 games last season. If their board seriously believes that side should finish in the top too then I feel sorry for their fans who support a club who's chief decision makers have in their head such a wildly inaccurate picture of football.

    I wonder what their fans actually make of it.

    To me it is obvious madness and I can see them totally falling away from the promotion fight from here.

    I reckon they suffered massively from the loss of Harvey Barnes, just like us.

    The sacking epitomises what I dislike about football these days.

    Anyone spot James Bree crossing for Ipswich’s equaliser?

    Lots of Barnsley connections and I’d love to see big Darren back at Oakwell one day.

    If you listen to the haters they haven't won at home in three months, Harvey Barnes isn't around to paper over the cracks, they couldn't beat the worse team in the league and have lost more ground on automatic promotion when they were in the mix not that long ago.
