After tomorrow’s game, up to the end of March we play 3 matches, Sunderland only play once. Their 2 matches called off one because of international call-ups the other because they are at Wembley in the tinpot cup final. Add to the fact they already have one game to catch up they will start April having played 3 games less than us. Given they will finish the season having to play Sat/Tues Sat/Tues it could just work in our favour.

It will depend on our next two games in my opinion. If we can put some distance between us and them, it will put the pressure on them to make up the points. If we lose tomorrow and at Donny, then those games in hand look a lot easier.

    Let's see where we're at come 10pm Fri :)

If they win their tinpot cup they will be on a roll. We need to carry on as we are and then it really won't matter

It’s only became a tinpot cup when they brought the premiership kids in.

Lol, well I'd still rather have won it this year, there's no kids team in the final.

There would have been if we had got to the final. Our team is made up of kids.

Can we not ask for the Walsall game to be postponed chance Davies, mcgeehan and dougall could be called up

They play Donny, Peterborough and Portsmouth in 7 days at the end of April.

If we keep winning then we could be 10 points clear having played 3 games more.

That would be some psychological advantage.

Don't know if they can refuse the call ups, but if they can, surely knowing how we are fixed and it's in there interest to gain promotion, money wise if nowt else, they would refuse and they would only be peaked on the bench.

Trouble with that even if it is possible would be that prospective future recruits would bear that in mind when asked to sign for us .

Imo it should be postponed if Davies and dougall get called up and potentially mcgeehan, hedges and cavare aswell. Cavare turned down a call up earlier on in the season to play for us but I wouldn't expect players to do that.
