He can't play tomorrow regardless as he suffered concussion at the weekend. But I wouldn't have thought it can be upheld. Wycombe should get appealing too to get their man off if so.
Players need to lead by example. He encroached onto the opposition dug out so I fail to see how they can overturn it.
They would probably get a written apology from the Wycombe club as well for inconveniencing them in having to travel so far. One from the referee as well, for having the cheek to pick on the big club's players.
That seems unusually reasonable for the FA - he gets punished appropriately but only misses the 3 games he should
I don't think it's reasonable really because other players weren't given the same treatment? He's not the first who should have missed 4 games but is the first to get it reduced for 'fairness'
Well its fair if going forwards they keep the same criteria and have a separate suspension system for the noddy cup or whatever its called next season Bookings in it never counted towards the proper games so it seems strange that suspensions in league games also banned players from checkatrade games even though they didnt count - if the checkatrade game fall at the wrong time
